They have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment used in the production processes. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Maintenance: Install, align, and test machinery and equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and production staff to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest enhancements to increase productivity and reliability.

Key Qualifications

  • Certification: Valid 433A Millwright certification or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Experience with various hand and power tools, precision measurement instruments, and machinery.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
